There's no place like home for Archbishop McCarthy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Westminster Academy Lions, posting a 70-38 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mavericks considering their 20-point performance the contest before.

Archbishop McCarthy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubreigh Pumphrey-Solomon led the charge by shooting 42% from the field en route to 21 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Kuchar, who posted 11 points and seven steals.

The victory got Archbishop McCarthy back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Archbishop McCarthy will face off against NSU University at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westminster Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on FAU High at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
