X League (women's football)

The Extreme Football League (X League) is a women's semi-professional indoor American football league in the United States. Originally founded in 2009 as the Lingerie Football League (LFL) and later rebranded as the Legends Football League in 2013, the league underwent further restructuring and rebranded as the X League in 2020. Owned by NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka since 2021, the league features top women's teams competing in a hybrid format of tackle and flag football. The X League aims to provide a platform for female athletes to showcase their skills and passion for football.
