His basketball journey began in his senior year of high school when he earned the prestigious title of a McDonald's All-American in 2017. Following his high school success, Brown went on to play college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. His family has a strong sports background, with both his mother and father having competed collegiately at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, participating in track and basketball, respectively.
