Film. Upload. Watch. Share.

Game tape gets you recruited. Highlights get you seen.

BallerTube is the one place for full games, highlight reels and live streams, tagged to the athletes in them and found by the coaches looking for them. Film it on your phone, upload it in minutes, and share one link.

Free for athletes, parents, teams and organizations. Original videos can earn through the Creator Program.
Why both matter

Game tape and highlights do two different jobs. You need both.

Game tape is what gets you recruited. A full, unedited game shows a college coach what a highlight reel cannot: how you play off the ball, how you defend, what you do after a mistake, and whether you are still running in the fourth quarter. Coaches ask for it because it is the only honest sample.

Highlights are what get you noticed. Sixty to ninety seconds of your best plays is what gets shared, swiped, followed and talked about. On BallerTube a highlight does not disappear after a day. It lives on your profile next to the full games it came from, so the coach who found you through a reel can go straight to the tape.

Athletes, organizations and creators

The same upload tools, three different reasons to use them.

Athletes

Full games for the coaches. Highlights for everyone else.

  • Game tape gets you recruited. Upload every full game, tag yourself, and a coach can watch your decisions, your defense and your motor without asking you for a file.
  • Highlights get you exposure. Your best plays go into the highlights feed, where fans swipe, follow and share them across sports.
  • Instagram is for the moment. BallerTube is for the record. A post on Instagram is buried by tomorrow. Here your film stays on your profile, indexed by Google under your name.
  • One link for every recruiting email. Highlights, full games, position, school and class year on a single page a coach can open on their phone.
  • Tags do the work. When a parent, a team or BallerTube tags you in a video, it lands on your profile and you get an email.

Organizations and teams

Every game your program films, in one place, working for every player on the roster.

  • All game tape in one library. An organization dashboard holds every team's videos, and each team page keeps its own games, highlights and albums.
  • Upload once, every player benefits. Tag the athletes in a game and the film appears on each of their profiles. No parent has to ask you for a copy.
  • Stream games live. BallerStream puts a scoreboard on screen, takes tips or admission, and the stream can be saved to the team page afterwards.
  • Sharing is the point. One team link goes to families, recruiters and local press. A shared game is watched; a hard drive is not.
  • Film plus news plus events. Submit recaps with the athletes linked, and list tryouts and showcases next to the film that sells them.

  • Watch it add up. Up to ten qualifying videos a week, with a progress bar on every video so you can see the views come in.
  • Paid into your BallerTube wallet. Earnings land in your wallet and pay out to your bank through Stripe.
  • More ways to earn. Go live and take tips, or set an admission price on a stream. Film at a rec league, a tournament, a track meet: if it is yours and it is sports, it counts.

Questions

Before you hit upload

What is the difference between game tape and a highlight reel?

Game tape is a full, unedited game. A highlight reel is 60 to 90 seconds of your best plays. Coaches use highlights to decide whether to look closer, then game tape to decide whether to recruit you. Upload both: the reel brings them in, the tape closes the deal.

Do college coaches really watch full games?

Yes. A reel shows what you did on your best day. A full game shows how you move without the ball, how you defend, how you respond to a bad call and whether you are still competing late. That is the film a coach sends to a head coach before an offer. Read how unranked players still get recruited.

Which upload do I use, Video or Highlights?

Upload Video is for full games and longer film in landscape, 16:9. Upload Highlights is for vertical reels, 9:16, which go into the swipeable highlights feed. Both end up on your profile, and both let you tag the athletes who appear.

Can a parent or a team upload for an athlete?

Yes. Parents, coaches, teams and organizations upload every day. Tag the athletes in the video and it shows on each of their profiles, with an email to let them know. Athletes stay in control of what is shown on their own page.

How does the Creator Program pay?

You must be 18 or older and the footage must be your own. Each original regular video of at least one minute earns $1 once it reaches 100 views and you have shared it at least once. Earnings go into your BallerTube wallet and pay out to your bank through Stripe. Up to ten videos a week can qualify. Every bounty is checked for originality before it is credited. The full content creation page is coming soon.

What should I not upload?

Anything you do not have the rights to: TV broadcasts, other people's streams, music you do not own. Film you shot yourself, or that a parent, team or program shot and gave you, is exactly what BallerTube is for. Rights holders can send a DMCA notice at any time.
