Why create a profile

Google lists you. Coaches find you. All your content in one place.

A BallerTube profile is a public page at ballertube.com/athletes/your-name with search engine markup built in. When a college coach, recruiter or reporter searches your name, your profile is in the results with your film, your position, your class year and your latest news. Nothing to chase down across five apps.

  • Every clip lands on your page. When a parent, team or BallerTube tags you in a video, it shows on your profile and you get an email.
  • Verified seal. Claim the profile already created for you and the blue check tells coaches it is really you.
  • Rankings, directory, news. Your page is what the rankings, the athletes directory and articles link to.
  • Go live and earn. Stream your workouts or games, take tips, and see which videos coaches are watching in your stats.

Questions

Before you sign up

Is a BallerTube profile really free?

Yes. Creating a profile, uploading highlights, claiming a profile and appearing in the directory and rankings cost nothing. There is no paid tier you need for coaches to see your page.

I am already tagged in videos. Do I need a new account?

No. If BallerTube or a team has tagged you, a profile already exists at ballertube.com/athletes/your-name. Search for it, open it and use the claim box to verify it is you. Once claimed, you manage the page and the verified seal appears next to your name. Find your profile.

How does a profile help with college coaches?

Every profile is a public page with structured data for search engines, so a coach who searches your name finds your film, position, school and class year on one URL. Coaches can also search BallerTube directly by sport, position and location. We are a place to be seen, not a recruiting service, so we do not promise offers or rankings.

Can a parent create a profile for a child?

Yes. Nobody under 13 can hold an account, so a parent or guardian signs up as Fan/Parent and adds the athlete from their own profile. The parent stays in control, can keep the page private, and can remove tags or content at any time.

What does a team or organization get that an athlete does not?

A team account gets a team page with videos, highlights, albums, news, live streaming and event listings. An organization account adds a dashboard for several teams, rosters, followers and news submissions, plus a public league page that lists every team. Both can tag athletes so film lands on each player's profile.

What happens after I confirm my email?

You land on your account. Add a photo, your sport, position and school, then upload your first highlight or claim the film you are already in. From there, every video you are tagged in and every article that mentions you shows up on your page automatically.
