South Florida quarterbacks are throwing for more yards than almost anyone in the country. That is the headline from the MaxPreps national high school football stat leaders through Friday, October 16, where Westminster Academy's Aiden Wallhoff and Boca Raton Christian's Joey Weber rank second and fourth nationally in passing yards, and three Boca Raton Christian receivers sit inside the national top 10.

A note on the numbers: MaxPreps leaderboards are season-to-date, built from stats that schools enter themselves, and a player must have appeared in at least four games to qualify. Programs that do not report stats will not show up. Here are the leaders in each major category as of Saturday morning.

  1. Jaxon Hunt, QB, Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT): 3,161 yards, 41 touchdowns, 4 interceptions in 9 games
