There’s a level that very few have been able to reach in the world of sports - and I have the audacity to chase after it. So many athletes are talented, but going from to good to greatness takes more than just talent. I've watched the greats before me and studied what makes them different, learning how I can take what they did and apply it to myself to shift and become something different. Track & field is an extremely mental sport and everyday I am thinking about what it will take to ascend to the next level. The preparation doesn't start on game day; it's something that manifests through the hard work you put in each time you step on the track.
