🏀 GAINESVILLE STAYS PERFECT The Gainesville Red Elephants continued their dominant season, defeating the Johns Creek Gladiators 58–46 to capture their second straight Region 7-5A championship at Chattahoochee High School. Senior Brandon Nelson led the way with 23 points, including a huge 13-point second quarter off the bench that helped Gainesville flip a 19-16 deficit into a 34-22 halftime lead. The Class 5A No. 1-ranked Red Elephants improved to 27-0 and locked up the No. 1 seed in the GHSA state basketball tournament.
