Lewis Uvwo was one of the most dominant defensive players in the Nike EYBL all summer. The 6’11 Nightrydas Elite big man earned 17U EYBL Defensive Player of the Year and took his game to another level at Peach Jam. Uvwo recorded a ridiculous 10 points, 9 rebounds and 10 blocks against Team Herro, then delivered 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks against AB Elite. With a trip to the Peach Jam championship on the line, Uvwo came up with the final defensive play against Beckham Black to help Nightrydas advance. An elite rim protector who can rebound, run the floor and finish above the rim, Uvwo impacted the game on both ends all summer.
