Florida Nation's 7th/8th Grade Girls came away with a win this past weekend in a friendly scrimmage against the Westminster Boys Basketball Academy group in South Florida. But the bigger story isn't the win. It's the development. At Florida Nation, we believe in strategically scheduling competitive matchups that challenge our athletes physically, mentally, and fundamentally. Playing against boys provides another opportunity to adjust to different levels of speed, physicality, and intensity while building confidence and basketball IQ. We're not chasing trophies. We're building basketball players. Every matchup has a purpose. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Our goal is to prepare our athletes for the next level, not simply collect wins at their current one. That's the Florida Nation approach. Development first. Results follow. 🏀 FLORIDA NATION BASKETBALL The work is bigger than the scoreboard.
