2.5K Views · 2 years ago
Have a look at the Women's 19-20 and 21-22 2000m races at day 2 of the 2024 World Rowing Indoor Championships presented by Concept2. Racing virtually, Germany's Alexandra Föster sets a remarkably even split in the women's 21-22 2000m as we return to the longer distance. She wins in a time of 6:48.4. There is a great race for silver between Belgium's Mazarine Guilbert (racing virtually) and Czechia's Marie Doležalová, which ends in a tie - both athletes posting 6:58.1. In the hall, Doris Meinbek of Estonia wins the women's 19-20 2000m in 6:57.7 after establishing a big lead early on, while the lightweight women's 19-20 gold medal goes to Portugal's Bruna Parente in 7:16.8.
