Australian Test Opening Batsman David Warner has announced he will be retiring from ODI cricket. Warner’s announcement follows his recent decision to retire from Test cricket. “We’re in a good position in Australian cricket to have the next generation and the current players that have been not selected, to take over,” he said during a media conference on Monday. “Through my career, I’ve surprised myself to play all three forms as well, it’s been very difficult … but we’ve got the right people there, I feel, to take over any three of those spots.” Warner is set to play in his final Test which begins on January 3.
