The Miami Suns 5th Grade Team closed out Summer Slam in Orlando with a statement win, blowing out Team Genesis 38-13 — their third straight game ending early due to dominance. Led by elite scorers Carly Lewis and GEOnna Jackson, with the height and rim presence of Armani McFadden, pinpoint passing by Lauryn Pumphrey-Solomon, and backcourt control from Pilar Jones, Taylen Williams, and Logan Barnett — this team plays with maturity, discipline, and unselfishness rarely seen at this level. From precise ball movement to lockdown defense and relentless hustle, this group is proving they’re not only the best in South Florida — they may be one of the best 5th grade teams in the country.
