Archbishop McCarthy flipped the script in their rematch with NSU University. After taking a 24-point loss in their previous meeting, the Mavericks came in locked-in and delivered a gritty, hard-fought 38–35 win, marking their closest victory since January 11th. Gabby Greco powered the Mavericks with a strong two-way performance, finishing with 15 points and four steals. Summer Kuchar made her presence felt all over the floor, adding seven points and an impressive eight steals to spark McCarthy’s defensive pressure. Aubreigh Pumphrey Solomon continued her impact on the glass, contributing six points and nine rebounds, helping the Mavericks control key possessions down the stretch. The win moves Archbishop McCarthy to 2–1 on the season, and they wasted no time building momentum—already securing another tight victory, 45–42 over Donahue Catholic on the 22nd. As for NSU University, they’ll regroup before returning to the court on December 2nd against Boynton Beach. A big test, a tough matchup, and a statement response by Archbishop McCarthy.
