Collina's era was characterized by a no-nonsense attitude. His stern gaze and decisive decisions earned him a reputation as one of the toughest referees in football history. The mere sight of Collina had players and managers alike toeing the line, and dissent was a risky proposition. His commitment to maintaining order on the pitch was unwavering, and his calls were often final.
In contrast, today's referees are perceived by some as more lenient, perhaps more inclined to engage with players rather than immediately resorting to disciplinary measures. This softer approach, while aiming for improved communication, has led to debates about whether the authority wielded by referees today matches the robustness of Collina's era. See more

Yesterday was such a special day for me! ⛳️🏌️♀️
I’m very thankful for the opportunity to play in the *NSU US High School Golf Tournament* at *Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club*, competing against Westminster and Franklin Academy.
First and foremost, I thank *God* for blessing me with the opportunity to play this beautiful sport and for allowing me to continue learning and growing every day. 🙏🏼
I’m so thankful to my *parents* for their endless love, support, encouragement, and for always being there for me. ❤️
A special thank you to *Coach Chris Granger (@chrisgrangergolf)* and *Coach Ethan Cairns (@ethan_cairns35)* for the opportunity to compete, learn, and experience another great day of high school golf. I’m grateful for everything you do to help young golfers like me grow both on and off the course.
Thank you to all my *teammates and coaches* for your support, encouragement, and for always pushing me to become better.
At 14 years old, I know I still have so much to learn. My *commitment, passion, and love for golf* continue to grow with every round, every challenge, and every experience. 🏌️♀️💚
I’m excited to keep working hard, improving my game, and enjoying every moment of this journey.
*Thank you, God, my family, Coach Chris, Coach Ethan, my teammates, and all my coaches for believing in me. The journey continues! ⛳️✨*
