In a game where momentum was everything the Perth Heat held onto the lead to win an electric game-three semi-final. The Brisbane Bandits came out hot in the top of the first with a first-pitch home run to Robert Moore. This was backed up almost immediately by Logan Trowbridge with his own home run. Dai Kang Yang would steal third base and create an opportunity as a rare throwing error gave him the opportunity to extend his steal to home. The Bandits with three runs in the first inning.
