Perfect Game, the largest scouting event operator in youth baseball and softball, keeps handing its broadcast rights to creators. Its newest partner is Minority Prospects, an Atlanta platform that covers minority baseball and softball players.
Under the deal announced Nov. 2, Minority Prospects can carry select Perfect Game events on Minority Prospects TV, YouTube and Instagram, and the two will collaborate on content and cross-promotion, according to Youth Sports Business Report. No financial terms or event list were released.
WWBA World Championship in Jupiter Was the First Test
The partnership went live in October at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Florida, Perfect Game's top fall event, before it was announced. Perfect Game CEO Rob Ponger called Jupiter "the right way to start."
Minority Prospects by the Numbers
Founded in 2020 by Alexander Wyche, Minority Prospects counts 147 MLB draft picks among its alumni and more than 2,000 college baseball and softball scholarships, per YSBR and Buying Sandlot. Its free clinics have served more than 95,000 participants, and it runs the HBCU All-Star Games, the MBP All-American Game, the MBP Collegiate League and the MBP Junior World Series.
This is Perfect Game's third creator-native rights deal of 2026, after Youth Prospects in April and Doubted Athletes in June. Perfect Game produces nearly 10,000 events a year, so expect more of its showcase coverage to live on creator channels rather than its own.
